Visit to Pure Land Meditation Centre and Japanese Garden

To enable members of Lincoln faith communities (and others) to expose them to the Pure Land Meditation Centre which emerged after a long spiritual journey of Maitreya who in his early life lived the life of a Zen monk but felt the monastic life was too harsh, rigid and out of date. Maitreya left Japan to spend a year in Thailand, then went travelling in India and Nepal where he began teaching meditation for a few years. Pure Land was born in 1973.
